Almost All Of The Maps In The Book Are For Bucharest.
When I was searching for a manual for Romania I had 3 options : State Geographic Traveler : Romania, Forsaken Planet’s Romania & Moldova, and The Coarse Guide to Romania. The Nation’s Geographic guide got OK reviews, folks either loved or hated Forsaken Planet, and so I selected Coarse Guide, which got moderate to favorable reviews, but had 1 or 2 that discussed it was regarded as having a good section on Bucharest, which was my travel destination. I’d never bought a Coarse Guide and hadn’t been to Romania, so I had not got any idea what should be expected or maybe what to go looking for, and I hopelessly required some variety of direction on what to do and see in Bucharest and the near by areas.
